Day 1 — Arrive Calafate

Upon your arrival in Calafate, meet your guide for your private transfer to El Chaltén (approx. 3-hour drive). You’ll have some leisure time to explore the area around Mount Fitz Roy, known for its world-class hiking and mountaineering opportunities.

Day 2 — Private Trek to Laguna de los Tres

Private Trek to Laguna de los Tres

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and embark on one of the most iconic routes in Patagonia. The trek to Laguna de los Tres begins early, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes with the imposing Cerro Fitz Roy as the protagonist. The route covers approximately 20 kilometers round trip, with a total elevation gain of 1,200 meters, making it a moderately difficult to challenging hike.

Throughout the journey, the trail winds through lenga forests, steppe areas and panoramic views that unfold as you ascend. The effort is rewarded with spectacular views of Fitz Roy and Laguna de los Tres. Along the way, an expert guide will explain the flora, fauna and geography of the region, ensuring your safety and enriching the experience.

At the scheduled time, meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby. Your private transfer will take you back to El Calafate, and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 5 — Gourmet Navigation through the Glaciers

Gourmet Navigation through the Glaciers

Embark on a unique navigation experience through the most stunning landscapes of El Calafate. The journey begins from the private port La Soledad, setting sail toward Brazo Norte, where spectacular views of Bahía Escuadra and the impressive Muralla de Condoreras can be enjoyed. Along the way, the Dry Glacier and Heim Glacier impress with their ice formations before reaching the majestic Spegazzini Glacier.

A disembarkation at Puesto de Las Vacas offers a walk through the natural surroundings before heading to the Upsala Channel, with panoramic views of the Upsala and Bertacchi Glaciers. A delicious lunch is served onboard while navigating the Iceberg Channel toward the northern wall of the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, ending at Puerto Moreno, where you’ll walk the glacier’s walkways to observe this imposing wonder up close.

Day 6 — Calafate to Ushuaia

Calafate to Ushuaia, the Southernmost City in the World

After a leisurely breakfast, your guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival you’ll be met by your private driver-guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7 — Wildlife and Wonders of the Beagle Channel

Wildlife and Wonders of the Beagle Channel

After breakfast, meet your driver for a transfer to the port to board our exclusive vessel, the Akawaia, for an unforgettable journey through the Beagle Channel. You’ll observe colonies of Imperial Cormorants and other seabirds in their natural habitat, approach Isla de Lobos — home to South American sea lions — and visit the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse.

The journey continues eastward with stunning views of Estancia Remolino, Punta Paraná, Puerto Williams and Puerto Almanza. Sailing around Gable Island to Martillo Island, you’ll reach the southernmost colony of Magellanic penguins in the world. To conclude, delight in a carefully curated tasting menu surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Beagle Channel.

Day 8 — Discover Tierra del Fuego National Park

Discover Tierra del Fuego National Park

Just 12 km from Ushuaia lies Tierra del Fuego National Park, where sub-Antarctic forests, the Beagle Channel and the Andes converge in breathtaking scenery. Your journey begins aboard the End of the World Train, included in your experience, which winds through the park’s pristine landscapes with unique perspectives of rivers, forests and wildlife.

Following the train ride, continue along National Route 3 to reach the famous Lapataia Bay — an iconic destination and the southern terminus of the Pan-American Highway, which begins in Alaska. The winding roads and panoramic vistas reveal the wild, untouched heart of Tierra del Fuego.
